Crime and tolerance

Revised

Dear Journalists,

Best wishes for permanence to Aung San Suu Kyi’s freedom

While Venezuelan political prisoners are without hope for justice under Hugo Chavez’s regime one prisoner has been able to sell his art work:

Sadly, Venezuelans seem to be cursed with tolerance given to criminals while their own quality of life is neglected by the government, and those who can help restore democracy in the abused nation. Currently, Chavez is requesting extradition to Venezuela of Walid Makled alleged narcoterrorist held in Colombia.

http://www.crimecasefiles.com/forum/the-war-on-drugs/20043-colombia-arrests-major-cocaine-trafficker-walid-makled-garcia.html

Stratfor.com reports alleged grave implications concerning Hugo Chavez, Walid Makled, and other high government officials.

http://www.stratfor.com/memberships/175826/analysis/20101112_chavez_shores_his_military_support

Not by coincidence, Rangel Silva’s defensive statements and his sudden promotion come as Venezuelan drug kingpin Walid Makled, in Colombian custody since his late August arrest, faces possible extradition to the United States. Makled is thought to possess valuable recordings of transactions incriminating high-ranking members of the Venezuelan government in money laundering, drug trafficking and perhaps terrorism. Rangel Silva, Carvajal, and Interior and Justice Minister Tareck El Aissami could be on Makled’s list. Given the tumult that would ensue should high-ranking members of the Venezuelan government face such serious criminal charges in a U.S. court, Caracas has pressed the Colombian government to extradite Makled to Venezuela on the grounds that he is a Venezuelan citizen.

El Nacional reports declarations from Walid Makled denouncing military protection in Venezuela:

Venezuela's Chavez defends general amid scandal

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2010/11/14/AR2010111401869.html

Who rules in Venezuela? Is it Hugo Chavez? Or is Chavez himself ruling under duress from terrorists taking over the nation? Chavez’s actions are denounced as in violation of the Venezuelan Constitution.

There are complaints from experts of crime tolerance towards Hugo Chavez directly linking The White House Dan Restrepo, Special Assistant to the President and Senior Director for Western Hemisphere Affairs as explained on the following link:

Venezuelans need the aid from the International Court of Justice, and world leaders, to resolve abuse of power in Venezuela and restore democracy.

A priori insubordination

Response from O.A.S Secretary General

"I do not have a view about statements made by senior government officials, but in this case I make an exception. The fact that an army commander threatens with an a priori insubordination is unacceptable. Venezuela's ruling civilian authority should correct that."
